The buzz about Alimento, Zach Pollack’s newish Silver Lake restaurant, has been wafting back to Venice since it’s opening last Summer. It is Silver Lake’s hot spot and reservations are still hard to come by. We loved it all and favorites were:  the Roasted Escarole Heart, Chicken Liver Crostone (not usually something I go for, but was pleasantly surprised), Fusilli with clams, fava leaves, serrano and smoked butter. Alimento is my new Silver Lake go to, reservations permitting that is!
